25 Years Later — We Will Never Forget.
On September 11, 2001, our nation lost 2,977 innocent lives in an attack that forever changed America and aviation security. Today, AFGE Local 1260 joins AFGE TSA Council 100 in honoring the victims, first responders, families, and all those whose lives were forever changed. The TSA workforce was born from the lessons of that day. AFGE Local 1260 representatives were proud to participate in the Pima Area Labor & Community Public Engagement event this Labor Day. Our representatives attended on their own time—not official time. Legislative Engagement in Nevada
AFGE continues to stand up for TSA employees—at the workplace, in our communities, and with elected leaders across the country. Three airports have already announced plans to transition to Gold+, raising important questions about the future of the federal screening workforce and airport security. Our members deserve the facts, not secrecy. AFGE
