25 Years Later — We Will Never Forget.

On September 11, 2001, our nation lost 2,977 innocent lives in an attack that forever changed America and aviation security. Today, AFGE Local 1260 joins AFGE TSA Council 100 in honoring the victims, first responders, families, and all those whose lives were forever changed.

The TSA workforce was born from the lessons of that day. Twenty-five years later, Transportation Security Officers continue to stand watch at our nation's airports, protecting millions of travelers and carrying forward a mission that can never be taken for granted.

We remember those we lost. We honor those who serve. We remain committed to protecting our federal TSA workforce and the traveling public.
