Bobby Orozco Jr. has been Local President for the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) Local No. 1260, AFL-CIO since 2015. Prior to serving as President, Bobby has held positions of Steward (L-1234), LAX Chief Steward (L-1234), Vice President - California (L-1234), Executive Vice President (L-1234, L-1260), and Secretary Treasurer (L-1260).

In addition to serving as Local 1260 President, Bobby is also the Regional Vice President for AFGE TSA Region 6 covering Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Guam, Saipan, and American Samoa, for AFGE Council 100. Bobby has been employed with TSA since 2008.

Bobby holds several Master's degrees including English with a concentration in Rhetoric, Criminal Justice, Family & Human Development, and Organizational Leadership, from the University of Cincinnati, Arizona State University, University of Massachusetts Global, and National University. Bobby received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix. Bobby is also a member of Alpha Phi Sigma: The Criminal Justice Honor Society: Gamma Theta Pi & Eta Theta chapters, National Society of Leadership & Success, and Omega Nu Lambda: Phi Chapter.

Bobby has been involved with organized labor since 2002, where he has served in various roles with the Graphic Communications International Union (GCIU), International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), and United Steelworkers (USW), throughout his career.

More importantly, Bobby is passionate, committed, and empathetic to the needs of the members he serves. His dedication to the cause of Labor Unions, moreover Federal employees, is immeasurable.

Bobby has been married since 2004; and has four children.
